QuizMate Terms and Conditions
§1 General Provisions
1. These Terms and Conditions define the rules and conditions for participation in live quiz games organised by QuizMate Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at ul. Silnikowa 15/54, 02-495 Warsaw, Poland, NIP: 5223264388, REGON: 525831105, KRS: 0001046906.
2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. specializes in organizing interactive live quizzes for groups of friends.
3. Booking and participation in quiz games organised by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is voluntary and constitutes acceptance of all provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
4. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The current version of the Terms and Conditions is available on the company’s website at www.quizmate.pl/en/regulations and may also be provided to participants upon request before the start of the game.
§2 Participation Rules
1. In order to participate in the quiz, participants must make a booking via the reservation system available on the website www.quizmate.pl. Bookings may also be made by phone, email, or in person at our venue (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw).
2. During the booking process, the following information must be provided: first name, surname, phone number, email address, number of participants, and any additional information (e.g. discount code or invoice details).
3. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and become valid only after confirmation by QuizMate Sp. z o.o.
4. If you wish to make a personalised booking (e.g. hen/stag party, birthday party, corporate event, etc.), please contact a member of staff by phone in advance to discuss the details.
5. Once the booking has been successfully completed, a confirmation will be sent to the email address provided.
6. Participants have the right to cancel or modify their booking by sending an email to kontakt@quizmate.pl
no later than 24 hours before the scheduled game time.
7. If a booking is made for a specified number of participants, the service fee is calculated based on the number of participants indicated at the time of booking. A reduction in the number of participants on the day of the game does not constitute grounds for a price reduction or a partial refund.
8. If the booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled game time, or if participants fail to attend the booked session, the booking fee is non-refundable.
9. A booking for a specific game time constitutes a service provided at a specified date and time.
10. For organisational reasons, participants must arrive at the venue (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw) 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Late arrival may result in the loss of the opportunity to participate in the game.
11. Smoking, alcohol consumption and the use of intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited on the QuizMate premises.
12. Persons who are visibly under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances, or who fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions or the instructions of staff members, may be excluded from the game.
13. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to cancel a booking made by a participant.
14. By making a booking via the reservation system on www.quizmate.pl, the participant confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
15. By booking a game session, the participant agrees to the provision of the service at the selected date and time and acknowledges the cancellation policy set out in these Terms and Conditions.
16. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to change the date or time of a game due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues or other circumstances beyond the organiser’s control. In such cases, the participant will be offered an alternative date or a refund.
17. Complaints regarding the provided srvices can be submitted electronically to kontakt@quizmate.pl. A properly submitted complaint should include the following information:
-First name and last name
-Email address
-Subject of the complaint
-Circumstances justifying the complaint
QuizMate Sp. z o.o. will respond to complaints without undue delay, no later than within 14 calendar days from the date of submission. The decision regarding the complaint will be sent to the participant via email.
§3 Safety
1. A QuizMate staff member has the right to end the game early if the behaviour of any participant poses a threat to the venue, equipment or other participants.
2. The venue and game rooms are monitored for security reasons.
3. Pregnant women and persons suffering from cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, asthma or other medical conditions are asked to inform a staff member before the start of the game.
4. Due to the nature of the game involving electronic equipment, QuizMate Sp. z o.o. shall not be held liable for interruptions or early termination of the game resulting from technical failures beyond the organiser’s control.
§4 Game Description
1. The game takes place in specially prepared rooms equipped with gaming stations.
2. Participation in the game is available to persons aged 12 years or older.
3. Minors may participate in the game only with the consent of a legal guardian.
4. Each game room can accommodate from 2 to 18 participants.
5. One game session lasts approximately 60 minutes.
6. Detailed rules of the game are available on the website www.quizmate.pl.
§5 Payment
1. Fees for participation in quiz games and any additional services are specified in the price list available at www.quizmate.pl/cennik.
2. Prices for companies (invoice) are quoted as net amounts and VAT must be added (8% for the game and catering, 23% for beverages).
3. Participants may pay during booking by card, bank transfer or BLIK, or before the game on site by card, cash or BLIK at the QuizMate venue (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, Warsaw).
4. In the case of purchasing a voucher, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of purchase, in accordance with consumer rights legislation.
5. The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to bookings for a specific game date and time.
6. Refunds for vouchers will be issued within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice.
7. Withdrawal statements may be submitted via email to kontakt@quizmate.pl.
8. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to change service prices during holiday periods or other special occasions. The price displayed at the time of booking shall remain binding.
§6 Vouchers and Discount Codes
1. To use a discount, the code must be entered in the booking form available on our website. Once a valid code is entered, the price will automatically be adjusted. QuizMate reserves the right not to accept discount codes for corporate events, invoice-based bookings or customised events.
2. A voucher entitles the holder to participate in a single quiz game after booking a game session. To use the voucher, please make a reservation via our website and indicate the intention to use the voucher in the comments section. Please select the payment option “pay on site”. The voucher must be presented to a staff member before the game begins.
Vouchers may be used only once and only for one game session, and cannot be exchanged for cash after the statutory withdrawal period has expired.
3. If using the “free birthday game” promotion, please select the payment option “pay on site”. The promotion does not apply to games paid for online.
4. Discount codes, vouchers and other promotions cannot be combined.
§7 Liability
1. Participants are financially responsible for any damage caused during the game (including damage to electronic equipment, furnishings or interior elements of the venue).
2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any personal injury or material damage resulting from the fault of participants.
3. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. shall not be responsible for personal belongings left on the premises.
§8 Personal Data Protection
1. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. ensures that all personal data provided by participants will be protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
2. Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of organising and conducting quiz games.
3. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. will not share participants’ personal data with third parties without consent unless required by law.

§9 Final Provisions
1. In the event of disputes between QuizMate Sp. z o.o. and a participant, the parties will seek to resolve them amicably.
2. These Terms and Conditions entered into force on 25 August 2023 and remain valid until amended.
3. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the game should be sent to QuizMate Sp. z o.o. via email or by post to the company’s registered address.
4. In matters not regulated by these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code and consumer protection laws shall apply.
