General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) policy
Section 1 General Provisions
1. This GDPR policy defines the rules for processing personal data by QuizMate Sp. z o.o with its registered office at ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is the data controller for personal data processed within the company’s activities.
3. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. guarantees the protection of personal data and implements appropriate security measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of processed personal data.
Section 2 Processing of Personal Data
1. Personal data processed by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is collected for the purpose of organizing and conducting quizzes.
2. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for booking quiz games organized by QuizMate Sp. z o.o.
3. Personal data processed by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. may include, among others: first name, last name, email address, phone number, payment details.
4. Personal data is processed only for purposes in accordance with the law, based on the consent given by the participant or other legal provisions allowing such processing.
Section 3 Rights of Quiz Participants
1. Quiz participants have the right to access their personal data, correct it, and request its deletion.
2. Quiz participants have the right to limit the processing of their personal data and to transfer this data to another data controller.
3. Quiz participants have the right to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data at any time.
4. Quiz participants have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory = authority for data protection in case of violations of data protection regulations.
Section 4 Security of Personal Data
1. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. takes all necessary security measures to protect processed personal data from unauthorized access, loss, damage, or unauthorized disclosure.
2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. implements appropriate technical and organizational security measures, such as data encryption and access controls, to ensure the protection of personal data.
Section 5 Retention Period of Personal Data
1. Personal data processed by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is stored for the period necessary to achieve the processing purposes, unless applicable legal provisions stipulate otherwise.
2. In case of withdrawing consent for the processing of personal data, the data will be deleted, unless there is another legal basis for retaining such data.
Section 6 Third Parties
1. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. does not disclose quiz participants’ personal data to third parties without the participant’s consent unless required by law.
2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. Personal data processed by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is stored for the period necessary to achieve the processing purposes, unless applicable legal provisions stipulate otherwise. In case of withdrawing consent for the processing of personal data, the data will be deleted, unless there is another legal basis for retaining such data.
Section 7 Final Provisions
1. Any changes to this GDPR policy will be published on QuizMate Sp. z o.o.’s website and will be effective from the date of publication.
2. Quiz participants consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy.
3. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the processing of personal data should be directed to QuizMate Sp. z o.o. by email or by mail to the company’s registered office.
