REGULATIONS

Section 1 General Provisions

1. These regulations define the rules and conditions of participation in live quiz games organized by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Silnikowa 15/54, 02-495 Warsaw, Tax ID: 5223264388.

2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. specializes in organizing interactive live quizzes for groups of friends.

3.Reservation and participation in quiz games organized by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is voluntary and implies acceptance of all points of these regulations.

4. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to change the regulations. The current version of the regulations is available on the company’s website at www.quizmate.pl/regulamin and is provided to participants upon request before the start of the game.

Section 2 Participation Rules

1. To participate in the quiz, participants must reserve a spot through the reservation system on the website www.quizmate.pl. Reservations can also be made by phone, email, or in person at our location (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw).

2. During the reservation, participants must provide: first name, last name, phone number, email address, the number of participants in the game, and any additional information (discount code, invoice details).

3. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are valid only after receiving confirmation from QuizMate Sp. z o.o.

4. For personalized reservations, such as hen/stag parties, birthdays, corporate events, etc., please contact us by phone in advance to discuss the details.

5. After a successful reservation, a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email address.

6. Participants have the right to cancel their reservation by phone at +48 519 562 606 or by email at kontakt@quizmate.pl up to 24 hours before the planned game date. Failure to cancel within the specified period may result in a fee for non-attendance.

7. For organizational purposes, participants must be present at the location (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw) 15 minutes before the start of the game. Being late may result in the loss of the opportunity to participate in the game.

8. Smoking, alcohol consumption, and the use of intoxicating substances are prohibited at QuizMate’s premises (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw).

9. Individuals under the influence of alcohol and other intoxicating substances, as well as those who do not comply with the regulations and instructions of the staff, may be excluded from the game.

10. QuizMate Sp. z o.o reserves the right to cancel a reservation made by a participant.

11. Complaints regarding the provided services can be submitted electronically to kontakt@quizmate.pl. A properly submitted complaint should include the following information:
-First name and last name
-Email address
-Subject of the complaint
-Circumstances justifying the complaint

QuizMate Sp. z o.o. will respond to the complaint promptly, but no later than within 14 calendar days from the date of its submission. The decision regarding the complaint will be sent to the participant’s provided email address.

Section 3 Safety

QuizMate staff have the right to terminate the game earlier if the behavior of any of the participants poses a threat to the equipment of the premises or other participants.

2. The premises and rooms designated for the game are monitored for security reasons. The image and sound will not be made available elsewhere.

3. Pregnant women and individuals with cardiovascular diseases, epilepsy, asthma, or other conditions are requested to inform the staff before the start of the game for safety reasons.

Section 4 Game Description

1. The game takes place in specially prepared rooms, each of which contains 6 game stations.

2. Participation in the game is available to individuals aged 12 and above.

3. One room can accommodate from 2 to 18 people during the game.

4. The duration of one game is approximately 60 minutes.

5. Detailed game rules are described on the website www.quizmate.pl.

Section 5 Payment

1. Fees for participation in quizzes and any additional services are specified in the price list provided by QuizMate Sp. z o.o. on the website www.quizmate.pl/cennik.

2.     Prices for companies (invoice) are given in net amounts; VAT tax (8% for gameplay and catering, 23% for beverages) should be added.

3. Participants can make payments during the reservation process: by bank transfer or BLIK, or by card/cash at QuizMate Sp. z o.o.’s location (ul. Marszałkowska 60/3, 00-545 Warsaw).

Section 6 Vouchers and Discount Codes

1. A discount coupon/voucher entitles you to participate in one game at QuizMate. To use the discount, please enter the discount code in the reservation form available on our website. After entering the correct code, the price will be automatically adjusted to the discount. Before starting the game, please present the coupon/voucher to the staff. We reserve the right to not apply the discount code/voucher in the case of corporate team-building events, invoiced gameplay, or the organization of non-standard events.

Section 7 Liability

1. Participants in the game are financially responsible for any damages (e.g., damage to electronic equipment, furnishings, and decorations of the premises) caused during the game at QuizMate Sp. z o.o.

2. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. is not responsible for any personal or material damages resulting from the actions of participants.

Section 8 Personal Data Protection

1. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. ensures that all personal data provided by quiz participants will be protected in accordance with applicable personal data protection laws.

2. Personal data of quiz participants will be used solely for the organization and conduct of quizzes by QuizMate Sp. z o.o.

3. QuizMate Sp. z o.o. will not disclose personal data of quiz participants to third parties without the participant’s consent, unless required by law.

Section 9 Final Provisions

1. In the event of disputes between QuizMate Sp. z o.o. and a quiz participant, the parties will seek to resolve them amicably.

2. The regulations come into force on August 25, 2023, and are valid until changed.

3. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the game should be directed to QuizMate Sp. z o.o. via email

4. In matters not regulated in these Regulations, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.
